The NAPAS Board of Directors will be meeting in November to review the past season, evaluate the current status of the club and discuss plans for the future. Any member wishing to have particular issues addressed at the meeting should forward their concerns to one of your Members at Large as soon as possible.

Launch Schedule Suspended

Due to the recent expansion of the Dragway and Raceway facilities at Toronto (formerly Cayuga) Motorsports Park, the logistical problems faced in conducting safe rocket launches on the site have proven insurmountable. NAPAS has been forced to suspend launch operations at this site indefinitely. A search for a new suitable launch site is ongoing.

Launch Schedule Resumes

We are pleased to announce that NAPAS has received approval from Transport Canada to hold additional high power launches at Cayuga this spring. Thanks to Jim Smith for accomplishing a smooth transition in this time of insurance concerns and FAA involvement.  Details of future dates will be posted as soon as possible.

The NAPAS Annual General Meeting was held Sunday, February 3rd, 2002 in the Mississauga Central Library. Thanks to all for taking time out of their SuperBowl festivities and joining us in a very productive meeting. We welcome the new Executive for 2002.
